My name is David Bennett and I'm a retired British Telecom telephone engineer.

I'm also a "Baby Boomer"

Now in the 21st century we  Baby Boomers are being blamed for the crisis that the pension system is experiencing.  We are living too long!

These are memories from my childhood and to wherever I find myself now. 

I'm writing this blog, not as an auto-biography & not, strictly speaking, in any chronological order. It's just a collection of stand alone memories, starting from my childhood and seeing how much I can remember.

If I remember something later I'll include it in the blog there & then with no attempt to insert it into the correct time slot.
